Oh, how your life can change in an instant. Xander was born on November 21, 2007, the day before Thanksgiving. It is amazing the love you have for your child instantaneous and how more in love I find myself with my husband. Xander is two months old today and I can't imagine my life without him.

I know Jim has felt a shift in our relationship, before it was all about us and now my challenge is figuring out a balance between my two boys. All of a sudden there is somebody else that needs your attention, for everything and this "life" we had before is gone and now our life is moving forward as a family. We are all just getting to know one another, it's exciting!

I am so looking forward to this new year. My best friend is getting married, my high school 20 year reunion, we are going to sell our house and move... some where, we will celebrate our third anniversary and Xander will turn one years old!

Our house was broken in to right after the new year, we had been out of town for a number of weeks, besides being away from our house for 3 months prior to the baby. I suppose they thought we wouldn't mind, since we are never home. They took a number of things, weird things (all my jeans for instance!?), things that can be mostly replaced. I now just see it as a new beginning.

I suppose it is these bumps in the road that are there to wake you up. I can tell you now after the last 5 months, I'm definitely awake! ;)
